Work Health & Safety
Safety and Compliance in Practice
Workforce Hub takes a practical approach to worker safety, onboarding and placement documentation. We work with host businesses to understand the role, the site and the controls required before workers start.
Safety is a shared responsibility between Workforce Hub, the host business and the worker. We do not treat WHS as a box-ticking exercise. Before placement, we gather information about the work to be performed, the site conditions, key hazards, induction requirements, supervision arrangements and who will supply any required PPE.
Where the worker is employed by Workforce Hub and on-hired to a host business, Workforce Hub remains responsible for payment and employee entitlements. The host business directs the day-to-day work on site. Both parties must coordinate on risk management and worker safety.
